Title: Another colony to relocate from a residence
Post by: LET-CA on June 22, 2007, 10:31:15 PM
I received a phone call at noon today to remove a swarm from a grape arbor.  I was pleasantly surprized to see that it's a well-established colony.  I'll go back with an empty hive and tie the individual combs into empty frames.  The bees were very gentle.  I only got "buzzed" once in the 30 minutes that I spent looking at them.  The link below is to a one minute video I shot with my camera.

What a treat!  Already small cell lucky you.  The comb is beautiful...did you video placing the comb into the empty frames?  Nice!!
