I have been reading this forum for a while although my main interest is the honey rather than the bees per se. This is a generally wonderful source of information on all bee-related things, however, I am somewhat missing a sub-forum devoted to all things honey. In particular I am interested in hearing about the most unusual and/or delicious honeys harvested by forum members or found for sale elsewhere. If anybody knows a source for kudzu and strawberry honey, I am all ears.

I've had some thyme honey from Greece that was very nice. Strong flavored. Eucalyptus is also strong and nice as is Sourwood. Buckwheat sort of resembles blackstrap molasses. Kind of bitter and strong flavored. Very nice. Goldenrod is also strong and dark and, IMO, quite nice.
Black locust is a nice mellow flavored honey. Nebraska wildflower is also nice. :) Orange blossom is an interesting floral kind of taste. Tupelo is a nice fruity kind of taste.
Bought some lavender honey from a specialty store here and it was the best ever. Also, got some honey from the Tuscany region of Italy, said wildflower and it is absolutely my favorite ever honey.
Also there is a white honey from Hawaii which is out of this world, but very rare. The web site for that honey is "www.volcanoislandhoney.com". I love their white honey, but they have an even better winter honey that is to die for.
