If applied correctly it should be empty in 24 hours.

i waited the 24 and it didn't work. the super was still full o bees. so i just took out a frame at a time and brushed off the bees and put the frames in the empty deep i have. the frames had starter strips to begin with and some capped drone cells were present. they didn't really draw the comb as they should but it looks like i got some nice capped honey. since i'm going to crush and strain i don't think neatness on their part counts. this is the first honey i ever took off a hive so thats pretty exciting!
