i read through that and the old one.  you write well.  we learn from the blogs, as well as this site.  the day to day lessons are invaluable.  Tillie has a great blog also and gives good insight to beekeeping from the beginners point of view.
thanks for sharing :-)

Ken, nice, it is good that you have taken time to do this thing, it will bring you great pleasure (and us too for some good reading).  Kathy is right, you are a good writer and it is interesting to step into the shoes of your life.  Have this wonderful day, Cindi

Wow, such kind comments.  Thank you all for the kind words and warm welcome.  I'll look up Tillie's blog and see what I can learn.  So far, I've spent the last three months reading every word I can process and it's been great fun.  If there is one fact that I've learned I can depend on it's this:  10 beekeepers with provide you with 11 different opinions on how to keep bees!  ;)

Be Well,

Ken

We agree to disagree.  I usually take an average and then do what my instincts tell me.
Nice Blog!!!

I've just recently updated the Terrabeethia site with some pictures from my inspection this weekend.
