Title: Introducing a New Queen to an Observation Hive from the Outside.
Post by: CWBees on August 28, 2007, 01:48:21 PM
This is how I introduced a queen to my observation hive. I placed a top cover to a finch bird bath over the half open sliding door of the hive and placed the queen in a queen catcher inside the cover late in the afternoon yesterday. I released the queen this morning and she is now in the hive. The bees appear much quieter now since they have a queen.
