Title: Honey supers off--Apiguard on today
Post by: twb on September 08, 2007, 10:16:22 PM
Without getting into the positives and negatives of Apiguard, could you tell me if this sounds right?
I took the honey supers off my 4 hives today.  Some had brood in them so I consolidated 9 frames with honey and brood into one super and placed it on my weakest hive(with one frame of just foundation to fill out the tenth place).  But, I placed a queen excluder under the added super.  Was that OK or will it keep my Apiguard from being as effective as it could be?

can't see that it would make any difference.
