Animal Planet played a cool show "Buddha, Bees and the Giant Hornet Queen". See it if you can...very interesting in many ways!
Yeah I saw that. Really neat. Shows the giant hornet again attacking bees and later the hornets attack a wasp nest. Shows the Japanese bees taking out a hornet. The Buddhist Monk handles the giant hornets :shock:
Saw that one. The japanesse bees really know how to get rid of the giant hornets.
Being monks, they will not harm any creatures. I, on the other hand, would quickly put the heel of my boot on any of those giant hornet queens they find early in the spring and would do my best to kill any of their offspring whenever I could find them. I've seen this show a few times before.
The commercial European beeks do seek out to kill hte giant hornets 'nests...It was amazing to watch the Japanese HB's take on the Giant Hornet!
