Just got sad news that Charles Martin Simon passed October 23rd...my heart is heavy.

What a bummer I have emailed with him what a great guy a real PIONEER for sure.Sad news

I realize that us beekeepers as a group are aging a lot, but this has been a really hard year for beekeeping with all the great people who have passed on.

I talked with Mr Simon several times about foundationless frames and beekeeping.  Philosophically, he was a breath of fresh air in the beekeeping world.  He will be missed.
