Last night ( Christmas Eve Eve ) after a light snack...My daughter and I decided to go for a walk ( she is up from Hollywood )...the full moon was just on the rise, SO bright it was...as we walked down the lane, we commented on the peacefulness of the chilled night's air and the clarity of the sky. We marveled at the simplicity of the white Christmas lights surrounding our roofline...
On the way back from the walk, we visited the beehive...the mini bee yard was illumined by the lights of the 3 reindeer lights we have in the lavender...We just sat and listened to the humm and hush...the sound of bees buzzing in their little home was very soothing, and the fragrance of the honey intoxicating...A piece of heaven on Earth I say...a great way to begin Winter!
Yes indeed, that sounds like a splendid evening. Yesterday evening I sat in my little popup blind and watched a small deer come out just before dark, it was 34 degrees F. He fed on my food plot, that I planted for him, and he enjoyed so good. Merry Christmas!

Ooooh Sharon, you painted a pretty picture. The reindeer lights in the lavender, nice, you obviously have a beautiful and large patch of lavender. I bet during the summertime when it is blooming the fragrance runs high. Tell me of the size of the patch. So nice your Daughter came up, was she wearing "Hollywood" clothes, or clothes that are "your neck of the woods", hee, hee. I remember you saying you dressed "Hollywood" when you went to visit her. Lovely thought that beeyard walk.
