It's Christmas Eve and I gave up on the idea of playing Santa to my hives. One look at all those thousands of tiny stockings hanging from the top bars and I fainted.
How about propolis perfume??
How about a dart board with a photo of a beekeeper on it??
How about lemon grass bathing oil??
OK I will stop now!!
Annette
A Santa that quits and a beekeeper dartboard !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hilarious  :-D
You are in South Jersey. I would say one of those lizard heating pads and some nice local sugar.
Sincerely,
Brendhan
How about a list of what you expect from them come spring??? That way you two could be on the same page!!!

Now isn't that just a little deceiving? Here girls, your new present, go and work your tiny little stingers off filling it up!!
<and then I'm just going to rip it from you come summer, mwa-hahaha!!!>
:-P
The best gift for them is to make sure that they have plenty of honey and stores left, are mostly disease free, and are wrapped up against the biting cold winds of winter!! :-D
Scads, I always leave some honey for my bees, but they don't need much cause we don't have real winters, we are teased. I tell all my bees that if you treat me good I will treat you good. I don't charge them rent, even the free loading drones, provide a good place for them to live, rescue them very often from houses and other structures, etc... where others don't understand them and just want to kill them because of that little stinger on their little butts, and house them when they are homeless. And the list goes on, trust me, they got it real good!
Sincerely, JP
