Hello there and Greetings beekeepers!!
Well we have all made it into the new year, and the Solstice has happened, which means the Days are getting Longer, so Spring must be just around the corner!!! YEAH!!!!
Wanted to know if I could ask for some help, either to be directed somewhere, or to get some help from the all of you.
I have been asked to do a presentation on "Inside the Hive" for Extension Students, 4-H and elementary school kids. They would like a presentation about the bees, with pictures of inside the hive. Things such as Queen Cells, Brood, Larvae, Capped Honey.... you know all the things we see. I had pictures of my own, but didn't backup my computer, and had a crash over the holidays, so none of those photos are accessible. Wanted to know if any of you had a presentation with pics that you could share, or if you could suggest someplace for me to go and see. I did order the Education Hive Kit from Brushy Mountain, but wasn't very impressed at all. :(
Hoping that the all of you can help out the Kids, the Environment, Extension students. All the while sharing and spreading the enthusiasm of Beekeeping with those who are sitting on the fence of making the leap.
Any and all HELP is greatly appreciated.

I bought for my nephews the new DVD called City of Bees. It is great for kids and cost about $25 w/ shipping from amazon. I will be doing a similar thing for girl scouts may 12 this year and could also use some help.
Understudy, I would love your power point stuff to add to the DVD.

I would be more than happy to send it to yo. Be warned it is like a slide presentation and it is pretty boring without a speaker in front of it. With a speaker it is great.
