Title: Gordon Wardell speaking at GBA
Post by: tillie on February 01, 2008, 06:12:23 PM
Anybody know anything about Gordon Wardell (Arizona entymologist at the Carl Hayden Bee Research center) - I'm going to Georgia beekeepers Association spring meeting tomorrow and he is the last speaker and I wondered what to expect.  Has anyone else heard him speak?  The website for his research center looks like they focus on unique ways to address varroa, although the talk I could go to tomorrow is on Africanized bees.

Other afternoon speakers are Jack Hanel (a NC state inspector, I think from Googling) and Dadant fellow, Jerry Latner.

I'm taking my knitting but I think I'll learn a lot as well.

Sorry you won't be there - it would be nice to meet you in person, TWT.

I missed some good speakers today: David Miksa, Kim Flottum (of Bee Culture) but I keep my grandson on Fridays and didn't want to miss that - the highlight of every week!
