See recipe below...more accurate than the first one I posted.
Another one...
Sandalwood Foot Rub
Ingredients:
½ cup sweet almond oil
¼ cup apricot kernel oil
1 tablespoon cocoa butter
2 tablespoons beeswax
10 drops sandalwood essential oil
Heat safe glass or ceramic bowl
Small saucepan
Instructions:
Combine the sweet almond oil, apricot kernel oil, cocoa butter, and beeswax in a small, nonmetallic container and place in a saucepan that has about 2 inches of water in it. Heat the mixture over medium heat until the beeswax is completely melted. Remove from the heat, and as it cools slightly, add the essential oil. Pour into containers and set aside to cool. Makes about 1 cup.
I think this one is the one I made the first time
Sounds lush. I volunteer for testing. :-D
The stuff is delicious Dane...really yum..
Try this instead of using apricot oil use coconut oil or johoba butter or shea butter and wintergreen essentual oils. Nice soothing foot balm. Great for those stubborn cracked heals of the feet.

I've got all those oils and butters.... coconut, mango, hazelnut and grapeseed too (I think I'm missing some of the inventory, lol). I enjoy concocting new lotions, body butters, balms, masks, tinctures, soaps and scrubs. I need to find out how to make or acquire a good coconut fatty acid cream base.
I've got a nice propolis after-shave I made recently: red propolois/alcohol tincture, aloe, tea-tree oil, vitamin e oil, ionic nano-colloidal silver solution.

Why not use coconut milk, drain the liquid and use the "butter" that's left. Or use it all.
The one thing I know about sandalwood is that it makes you sweat. Not sure that'd be the best thing for your feet. :-P
I have never experienced sweating from using sandalwood...the amount that is in the balm is is small...Also, it is extremely difficult to find true pure sandalwood oil, it mostly has been cut...I learned this from my guru...
I once brought back pure sandlewood oil from India. It was amazing stuff. They actually use it to cool the forehead and some other religious rituals.
