Title: Extracted late this year
Post by: reinbeau on February 13, 2008, 06:34:30 PM
Here is a shot of a bottle of honey of the leftovers in two 5 gallon buckets.  The honey on the bottom is from our hives down here, the crystalizing stuff at the top is from Maine (lots of goldenrod, you can smell it, but boy, does it taste good!).  They're both distinctive in their taste.  I've used it all up in my tea over the past month or so, it finally kinda mixed together into one smooth color.

I absolutely adore the taste of homegrown honey!

I'd put it on the window sill to make it crystallize faster and smoother.

glad Im not the only one that likes it better crystallized  ,,, Dont know why but to me it has always been better crystallized ..
I would eat it when it crystallized ,, until my dad would find it ,, and put it in warm water ,,,
then I would have to wait til it got good again
