Title: swarm trap

Hey I read a list of Hot Tips for swarm traps.I did just like it said got my first swarm today.It was a about 5 pounds they had already made two combs about the size of a couple of medium frames .

I think it is spring

Those HOT TIPS are on Beesource.

Here are a few.

Bees like old hive boxes especially with old comb
They Like swarm traps made out of that pulp stuff

The traps with the Phermone capsule are a lot more successful.

I got my Phermone from Brushy Mountain
And I got some from a guy on Beesource in the for sale section

I just went and took the swarm trap and shook them into a hive two med and a top and bottom.

They were small bees also which is good all I got is small and natural cell and starter strips.


Thes was a lot easier than getting a swarm out of a tree I'll tell you.
