Hello,
I am a novice beekeeper in the Detroit area and new to the forum. I took a beginner bee course last year and that was that! Much thanks to my beekeeping mentor Rich W. I'm starting out with 3 hives this year and then who knows? Any and all advice is welcome.
Patrick
Welcome aboard Patrick.

Are you going to the MBA convention at the Kellog center next month?
Patrick, welcome to our forum. You have the beekeeping fever, you got it last year, you have witnessed it, you are starting out with three hives this year, wait until next year!!!, hee, hee ;) :) :)
Stick around here, this will be a great learning tool, a place that you can tell us of yourself and your experiences with your bees. Ask questions, have problems solved, a very important key to becoming a great beekeeper. We have beekeepers that have kept bees almost all of their lives, all the way up to ones that don't even have bees yet, but are studying. It is a safe place to spend time, a family friendly forum, we are all special in our own little ways.
Our forum is getting new members rapidly I see, it is a wonderful and beautiful thing. The world needs more beekeepers, and beekeepers are being brought on board into this fascinating world, we all need to help each other to learn and keep healthy and wonderful bees. Yeah!!! Have the most wonderful and awesome day, we be lovin' this life we live. Cindi
Hey, I also am from Detroit also mentored by Rich W. . Started with one hive last year, split to three and now back to two. One died. I hope I am answering the right person, because I have never blogged in my life and don't know wether I am doing this right. Riet
