Title: Assemble wedge top/split bottom frames
Post by: dulley on February 23, 2008, 11:10:17 AM
I am new to beekeeping and I am assembling my wood frames.  Is it better to assemble them first with only one bottom bar so it is easier to install the bees wax foundations or will hammering the second bottom bar on possibly break the foundation?  I know I am suppose to push the nails through the wedge instead of hammering them to attach the foundation.

As long as the foundation is warm,it shouldn't break.I nail all the wedges wth a hammer
