Title: Candle Making

When you make candles does the wick have to be a special wick or can you just use string.

Square braided cotton....... #2 for up to about 2 in. dia and #3 for larger

Sure make nice candles (beeswax) and make great gifts but I've never had any good luck trying to sell.

Prob. too much comp. when can buy a big bag of paraffin ones for a nickel.

Which brings me to the people who think mere burning leaves in tobacco form is deadly but walk in their houses and will have paraffin candles burning.

Don't get the poison off beeswax candles but might as well be 'talking to the hand' explaining to (n0t) customers
