Hi, new keeper awaiting April for first set of bees. I bought my hives second-hand from someone close by and dependable. Before I realized the complexities of the hive last November, I filled in some defects within the chamber with wood filler ( looks, smells and feels like wood but is actually a combination of chemicals - commonly bought at Home Depot etc). Is this going to be problem for the bee? Should I dig it out?
Thanks, Jester
I wouldn't worry about it. The bees will propolize it and seal it off.
