It's an essential oil - eg, the type you use in an oil diffuser to scent your home or for therapeutic uses rather than a cooking type oil.

You can get it at pharmacies or herbal shops, heck, even interior decorating shops - if they sell scented candles they've probably got oils.

Just make sure you get a pure essential oil and not some diluted version.

i get mine on ebay.  there are a couple of good stores on there and the price is right.  this is the last place from which i purchased lemon grass oil.  there is another that i have used, but i don't remember there name right off.

you do not need a huge bottle.  you'll only use a drop at a time.  also, make sure you get pure essential oil and not a blended oil.  it will be listed one way or the other.  i still have most of the 4oz bottle that i got two years ago.

>what is lemon grass oil

Lemongrass essential oil is derived from a plant that has a citrus kind of smell to it.  Lemongrass is used as an herb to give that bright flavor to food.  The essential oil is what is left if you squeeze out the juice, eliminate the water and put the "essentials" in oil.  It is the concentrated smell of Lemongrass.
