Title: Waiting for snow
Post by: Finman on October 21, 2004, 03:36:01 PM
Yes, it is coming. In Lapland in Northern Finland is covered with snow to the distance of polar circle.  You can se it from traffic camera.

In my place long lasting snow usually comes at the begining of December.

Now autumn has been warm and bees carry water outside and they clean their hives.

Thats amazing. It's interesting seeing how early winter comes in different places. In southern England, I still have flowers in the garden and a few bumble bees are flying.

Snow here soon also Finman.  45 and raining this evening.  But the fire feels pretty good.  Been emailing a few queen breeders looking to get a cordovan queen in the spring.  I have read they are very gentle, although not the greatest producers in my climate.  I don't care.. I WANT a colony of those redheads!! bahahahahahah
