Title: New topic?
Post by: hellbenthoneybee on March 19, 2008, 07:42:25 PM
Hey when I have a new question do I start a new topic of tack on my last question?
I'm a business owner and I'm quite hecktic, sometimes I have free time, sometimes I have none. Will my future hive suffer from possable lack of attention?

Hi,
1 : If the question is not directly related to your previous question, start a new topic.Just try to find the proper heading to put it under.
2: Bees have worked it out on their own for a long time. Our main points of interest would be keeping the hive managable, disease free and be sure they have enough room for expansion or honey storage.

There are certain times where neglect can make or break your hives though, and other times they can be safely left alone. Early-mid spring and mid-late fall tend to be times to pay attention. Of course, paying attention the rest of the year has an impact, but those two times tend to be the most critical.

A new thread for a new question, BUT, you might try doing a search first. Many times you can find an answer on a previous thread. No waiting!

I think many of us can relate to having "busy times". It shouldn't be a problem, as long as you don't neglect it for too long. After awhile, you'll learn you can do a few basic things in just a few minutes.

My strongest hive is one I haven't messed with at all last year and only a couple of times during the two previous years.
