Title: where to buy one queen NOW
Post by: Pi on March 21, 2008, 10:00:15 PM
Where can a hobby beekeeper buy a single queen this time of the year?  For obvious reasons, suppliers are only selling this time of the year in big batches.  I live in the southeastern US.  The bloom is starting, and I have a queenless hive that needs to get going as soon as possible.  I don't want to wait to grow a new one.  Thanks

You can try Purvis Brothers. Not sure if they have any that they can ship right out. http://web.mac.com/dannpurvis/iWeb/Purvis%20Brothers%20Bees.com/Product-Prices.html
