Oh wow, who needs diamonds when you can get the coolest little nail gun! My DH took me to Home Depot this morning and got me all set up with the neatest toy! I used it on a million frames!

Congratulations on your new toy. Next, you may want to to add a 1/4" crown stapler. Holds better than a nail. In addition, it is difficult to beat a cordless drill and an assortment of dry wall screws.
Have fun, but bee safe, Steve
don't forget your safety glasses and keep your fingers back.
Bee safe,
JimmyO
This is the first time in my life I am more excited about stuff like this, than jewelry. If you knew me in my past life you would not believe I am doing this beekeeping at all. I could p--s away more money than you could imagine on such stupid stuff like clothing for instance.
I still can not believe I am doing this. Good for you Sharon that you are having so much fun.
Annette
DVD, congrats on your toy. i love mine. sure makes the jobs faster.
annette, we still get to buy clothes, they just have to cover everything and seal up tight. there comes an age where that is an advantage!
I am tickled pink...I love the sound of it when a nail goes in...my hubby was laughing at me...he was replacing fence posts in the lower 40, and I was assembling frames...fun fun fun...
So cool...JP you might want to try an earring maybe..hhhmmm
Steve, I will be careful...I do need some safety glasses for sure...
Annette & Kathy, it is nice to have fellow nail gunning women!
Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm,
Girls get all the good toys.
WTG on the nailgun.
I want one now.

When I was about 16 or 17 I let these two girls pierce my ear, really don't know why, well ok, I do, was trying to impress one of 'em, actually wound up dating her a little, anyway, I let it close soon after. My wife believe it or not has always wanted me to get one, just not my thing.
Nail guns are so cool, see, back on topic, heehee.

Now I want one toooOOooooo!!! ;) Think of the monstrosities I could build in the yard fast!! Our property would look like "WhoVille" cause I'm letting Chels use the rest of the hive paints to paint whatever she wants (xcept for the house or deck!) OOWheee! I'm not a straight line, sterile yard type...I like life, all jumbled up..natures colors never clash! :-D Jody
i don't know about the other girls, but i got my bee toys because my husband figured out that they are cheaper than the new 1 ton truck i want. i think he figures that if i am busy with bees, i'll forget about the truck. what do you think the odds are of that????

About slim to none. ;)

That poor clueless Man...You'll need the truck to carry home all the rest of your bee stuff! Jody
Why settle for a 1 ton, go for a duece and a half that way you can haul your bees or take a weeks worth of hay when you haul your horses in the trailer.

This is what I have. Nails and staples

jerrymac, that is not a comforting sight. my backside has bounced around in the back of more of those than i care to remember! they are not a smooth ride!!
a 1 ton will do nicely, thanks :-) my 3/4 ton is getting old and this time i want MORE.
Now we're talkin!! All the better to go through the muddy pastures!! hee hee! :-D :-D Jody
Ladies!! Ladies!!! Now you are making me green with envy, and not necessarily because of the fact that you guys have a nail gun. I am envious of the fact that you can use them. In all my days, I wish that I had the capability to pound in a nail straight, screw in a screw straight, make a right angle out of a board. I plain and simply cannot do that, I am not a defeatist by any stretch of the imagination, I do not have a mind that works in those ways, go figure that eh?
When I was trying to do some minor renovations to the chicken houses a couple of weeks ago it was ridiculous. I spent hours doing something that would normally any person with their witts about building probably one twentieth of the time it took me. I am not embellishing one little bit. I know even for a fact, that I could not use a nail gun and get it to do something that would even remotely resemble what the action the nail gun performed should look like. So......I don't build, nor nail, nor anticipating any kind of nail gunning. I will stick to the side of life that doesn't involve a hammer, nails and wood. I am so fortunate that my Husband will always build anything I want, he is extremely talented in this regard. It is just he is so ding dang busy with our house renos (eeeks, yes, they are still going on, he in now on our bedroom that he has taken a wall out between and his old office and it is one big room, he has done massive tiling on the floors and walls and is putting in a beautiful jet tub and a huge shower. When he is done, I will post a picture or two) that I daren't ask him to build anything right now. That would be imminent denial.
So girls!!!! I take my hat off to you all, you are thrilled with your new toys and yep, yep, that makes for a fine and wonderful day, so go and have that fun!!!! Me, sitting here wishing that I could even pound in a nail straight without bending it over. Best of this life, love our life. Cindi
I was in a pawn shop looking around and saw a brad nailer/stapler and an air compressor. I picked up both for $60.
I built three screened bottom boards in two hours including cutting the wood.
I have to admit this thing is pretty nice. I still like my screwgun though.
Sincerely,
Brendhan
