Title: swarm reunited?
Post by: humandrone on April 02, 2008, 07:54:43 PM
Can a swarm be reunited with its originating hive?  Including the swarmed queen?
The originating hive is kind of lame after the swarm, and I realy don't have any use for a nuc in my small suburban yard.
I'd appreciate any suggestions, and please consider that I only have two hives (plus the nuc).

I've been kind of a lurker here.  It's about time I registered....

I'd wait a week or two so they don't just swarm again, but sure, you can combine them.

Do a newspaper combine.

Make sure you remove the virgin queen.

Sincerely,
Brendhan
