The State Apiarist gave my girls a Clean Bill of Health today. It is my first inspection since I began keeping bees, I just wanted to share the good news. :-D
Gotta love a good report. WTG !!!!

Congrats. :)
That is GREAT news!
yes, wonderful news. Wish I could get a certificate of some sort. Well maybe not.
They don't seem to care about us Beeks in California do they Annette?
Extremely unregulated out here. Wonder why??
75% of the bees in North America get taken to California for pollenation and then removed from California. Can you imagine trying to control that?

I never gave it that much thought, indeed it would be a huge task. Hives that are
OverWintered in NJ are inspected.
I live in Maryland and one of the state inspectors came to our short course meetings, which have been the last several weeks, and he said he would be out to inspect our hives once we got our bees, sometime this summer. He made it sound like they came through every year. He has been very very helpful and informative in our classes.

Here in Delaware they tend to focus on the commercial beeks, but I still have to register and they reserve the right to inspect if they want. Its cool though, the head Apiarist is a friend of mine.
