Title: Entrance Reducing or Removal
Post by: MustbeeNuts on May 03, 2008, 11:43:34 AM
Well its been almost two weeks since I got my bees, they are foraging and bringin in the pollen, taking syrup well. but I noticed that there could be a small traffice jam. Somtimes bees are rolled backward trying to get in. they straighten up and in they go. But I am using the 4 in. I wanted to know should I , could I, remove the reducer now and not worry about it.. would it help with jams or is it needed. I don't see it getting down below the mid 30s?? Ideas?

Small traffic jams aren't an issue to me, but a big one is.  If you think yo have traffic issues, then remove them.
