Title: out of equipment!
Post by: KONASDAD on May 03, 2008, 05:42:29 PM
For the first time in years, seems swarms have made a come-back-or people are educted b/c of media blitz about calling NJBA. As a result, I am officially out of equipment and had to turn down a hanging swarm. Did three swarms friday alone, passed on one today and I hope to get more equipment Monday. I have four nucs, that are one piece w/ simple lid, vented w/ screens and a small hole w/ cork. Great swarm nucs. Just shake them in w/ cork in place, put on lid , duct tape and walk away. I also have equipment that doesent match(plastic, wax, wood, mediums, deeps etc), isnt standardized and was used in emergent times. Becoming standardized is getting harder every day. All good though.

Do what JP does use cardboard boxes. He is never out of equipment. ;)
or borrow some from pdmattox he has plenty since he never gets to do cut outs.
