Title: fragrant tree
Post by: derrick1p1 on May 07, 2008, 01:36:02 PM
There are several large trees in my neighborhood that have a great strong fragrance like Lilacs.  The blooms are small, and are in large groups about the size of a volley ball and light purple.  The leaves are aren't lobed.  They are in full bloom right now and smell great.  Any ideas what this might anyone?  The blooms are too high up for me to tell if this is a nectar source for the bees.
