Title: New hobby beekeeper in Arkansas
Post by: SmokeEater2 on May 25, 2008, 04:26:33 PM
Hello everyone! I just found my first hive after looking locally for quite awhile. My Dad kept bees for years and I remember some things but I've got a LOT to learn. I'll be doing a lot of reading here and I'll try not to ask too many stupid questions.

Welcome! No question is really stupid if you don't know the answer to it.

Welcome! great to have you. You'll find this to be a fun community that will answer your questions well. You may not get consistent answers, though, so be prepared to make a judgment call based on your own practices.

If you don't ask the question that you think might be stupid, you'll end up guessing. If you guess wrong, you'll learn from your mistake, and you won't make the mistake again. But isn't it better to ask the question and learn from someone else who's already made the mistake and learned from it? Then you get it right the first time. :)

SmokeEater2.  Welcome to our forum, interesting handle, by the way.  This is the place that you can lean on us to answer all your questions.  And as JP and Moonshae say, the questions are never considered unimportant.  Learning the most correct way of doing stuff that you can is the best, learning and doing things wrong by guesswork is not a good thing.  You will have that mountain of questions, we will be the tool to bring that mountain down to a molehill, bring on your questions.

You will make new friends here, we are all linked in this world and we help each other.  Lean on us.  Have that great and most wonderfully awesome day, Cindi
