Title: HOT Attic Removal!!!!
Post by: Scott Derrick on May 28, 2008, 12:02:43 AM
And I ain't talking about hot bees. The temp in the attic was about 150 degrees if not hotter. I stayed up there for about an hour and lost about 15 LBS (Just kiddin). But I bet I lost at least a gallon of sweat. I'm really glad the colony wasn't large at all (They owner had sealed them in and they were declining) but is was difficult to get because it was towards the back of the roof angle and above the brick work hanging from the roof plywood. I have various photos but they aren't the best. I'm just glad I'm not going to HELL because this is as close as I want to come to it.

Just the title gave me the sweats... hate attics. Too small, too dark, too hot. I like to be able to stand up when needed and stuff. better you than me!

Yeah man it was really not. If you want to know what it feels like turn your oven on 150 and then stick your head in it. (just kiddin don't try it). My vinyl vac hose was actually so hot is started to collapse. It was really bad. I don't want to ever do that again. Sadly the bees didn't survive the extraction. I think it was shock.
