Title: Expeller-processed soybean flower
Post by: gaucho10 on June 13, 2008, 05:02:43 AM
I am trying to follow some formulas for patties to feed my bees.  Some of these patties will contain essential oils to control mites.  All the formulas I have found on the internet call for brewers yeast and/or expeller-processed soybean flower.  I have attempted to look up the deffinition of this but can't find it anywhere.  I called the producer of a organically produced soy flower but the person I spoke with could not tell me if their soy flower was "expeller-processed".  Does anyone here know what the deffinition is?  Can I feed this organically produced soy flower to my bees without negative consequences??? :?
