Since I won't be getting a hive of my own 'til next year, I was wondering if there are any beekeepers in the E. TN area that might be interrested in putting one of your hives in my yard this year, and showing me the ropes whenever you come by to check on or work the hive.

Have you contacted a local bee club? Clubs are great ways to find mentors and get connected with nearby beekeepers. Clubs often offer beginning beekeeping classes.
