Title: Ventilating

When you prop the top, do you remove the inner cover?

I don't.  I usually place two strips of 3/4" on top of the inner cover that extend out past the overhang of the top cover.  The overhang of the top cover sits on these strips so the top cover is elevated over the inner cover and makes like a covered porch.

It is from Lowe's.  It's their cheap barn and fence paint.  I've been using it for a couple of years now and it seems to be holding up.  Of course I still have 30 years of other equipment that is white, grey, and silver.
