Title: AJ beetle eaters

What type of oil do you put inside the trap. mine came with zero instructions

I use Food Grade mineral oil. It is very easy to spill the oil when they get 'waxed' in place by the bees so make sure you use something that you do not mind eating. I also use bread twist ties to keep the top grill connected to the bottom reservoir and the ties also make little handles to help pull the traps out during inspections.

Oilve oil or vegetable oil works too.  Both edible, the olive oil spoils slower.
