Maybe they're visiting your same barber? heh -j/k! I think bee's losing their hair/fuzz is natural as they age and work hard. Queen excluders and pollen traps can accelerate this process as the bees make a tight squeeze through. Should be nothing to worry.
Cheers,
Dane

heh - you're welcome. :-D Good thing for us all that hair loss isn't fatal! ;)
Hey guys....
Hair loss is a manifestation of one being "More Genetically Evolved". Not all of us men have this gift! :-D
your friend,
john
When they first emerge they are fuzzy and have a lot of hair. This doesn't really last very long and they lose more as time goes on. Robbers lose even more from guard bees pulling their hair.

Girl fighting. :-P
I have a bold spot the size of Arizona State! Know why? Cause I am a genious!
Irwin,
It is quite normal for the hair to wear off over time. Wait until the Fall when robbing becomes more of an issue. Some of the older bees will actually be shiny, almost look like they are polished or wet.
