I just moved to a new area in SLC. After the last winter we had here my wife decided to move to the valley. Not too bad so far lots of nice folks. I am actually a couple of blocks from Golfpsycho. Although we have not met yet. Anyway, so I have my little OB hive down here and have tried to be sneaky about it. The neighbors all seem nice but you don't want to take any chances.
So the other day I get home from work and my neighbors tell me about this group of swarms that moved into the neighborhood and they had some bee keepers in there all day getting them..... I could not believe it. I have 25 boxes in the back yard all empty and all filled with combed frames and did I get one??? No, I could not believe it. Sorry did I say that already. Nobody seems to know who called in the bee keepers or who they were just that they got a bunch of swarms and I got nothing . They were all with in a few houses of me. Can you believe it?? Neither can I.... Like I said, serves me right for being sneaky
Get yer name out for next time, Mr. Sneaky. ;)

Kinda funny how "cosmic" law works.
Better luck next time!

Frantz, well, wouldn't that just burn your butt!!! You must be a very busy man these days with a move, that is a huge undertaking to move a home and family. Hope you like your new place. Tell us a little bit more about why you decided to move? Was it a long ways? I don't know why I am so curious and nosey about things, but I am. Guess I am just interested in the lives of other people, it is a good thing though, not a bad thing. Tell us about your new house. John must be moved into his new place now too, such a busy time of year for everyone eh? Have this most wonderful day, to live as there was never a tomorrow. Cindi
Here is the really bad part. If they were just swarms and not establishing a hive, it could be they were thinking of moving into your boxes.
