Title: Hi from Surrey, BC Canada
Post by: busy bees on September 02, 2008, 03:51:45 AM
Hi,  first timer here.  I bought two 4-frame nucs in July, both are in 2-deep hives.  One is doing very well, I think.  The other one is okay.  I've learned a lot from this great forum.  I am sure I will ask some questions of my own very soon.  Have a great day!  Jannie

Nice having you.  I am still playing sponge myself and looking forward to starting a few hives come spring.  I have heard you never stop learning things when it comes to bees so make sure you come back again and again.

Janie, welcome to our forum.  Cool, another Canadian.  I live in Maple Ridge, across the river from you.  Actually I live in Webster's Corners, about 6 km east of Maple Ridge.  I bet you got your bees from the Honeybee Centre, hee, hee.  You have entered a fascinating world, this honeybee.  You will soon find out how deeply you will be held under their spell, and compelled to learn more and more.  Stick around, this is a wonderful place to spend time, make new friends, ask your questions and tell your tales, stories and experiences with the bees (and other stuff too, we have several other forums in this big forum).  Welcome, have that most wonderful and awesome day, Cindi
