I've allways been interested in beekeeping, since my college days with a class I took (Entomology 101). It seemed I never had the place nor time or resources to try my hand at beekeeping now I can, I'm a disabled Aerospace engineer that is semi retired with plenty of time, the place and some resources, I have 10 acres in the mountains of West Virginia, and being a Nebraska farm boy I think I have a farm so I'm doing all those things I wanted to do when I was a Hippie. lol I've done some reading but any help would be great.

My name is Frank, I live in So Cal. This is my second attempt at raising bees. My first try was very successfully but had to be stopped due to a bout with cancer 5 years ago.I now have two hives. One is strong and one is weak.I would like some advice about them but will do so later unless someone would like to help! I think this site is my new best friend and hope to both use it for help and be a part of its contribution. Hello to all!!!
