Title: Honeybee die-offs linked to new pesticide
Post by: Monte on September 12, 2008, 08:29:03 PM
I thought this group might be interested in this, a couple of very interesting articles, From the Rodale institute and the ens-newswire

Does anyone have or know about Colony Collapse Disorder (CCD). I'm worried being new, I may end up losing my bees to this.

Monte,
We have a subsection on the forum that discusses this:

I think this problem affects migratory keepers more than backyarders. I wouldnt worry too much starting out with new equipment and fresh package of bees.
