Post by: tammyjennings on October 10, 2008, 05:35:42 PM
I have a very weak colony..not much honey store for the winter...It was a swarm hive we installed late summer...I have been feeding syrup ..but I think they need some protien too..I have ordered the pollen substitue powder that can be made into a paddy..Where do I put this paddy or powder once I get it?

Make sure you only put what the bees can manage Protein patties attract SHB
If they are a problem for your area then again where is Hopelessly lost?

Yes you could and mix it with honey to form a paste -but that is going to be a expensive patty -RDY-B
