Third year messing with bees. Something I took over when my grandfather feel ill, and have been doing it since. I look forward to many conversations. Thanks, Steven

Steven, welcome to our forum. You know this is so interesting. There are so many beekeepers that tell their story of having taken over the beekeeping for their beloved family that can no longer look after the bees. This makes me smile and feel so good. The beekeepers live on......so nice that you took over from your ailing Grandfather. Is he still alive? If he is, has his health prevented him from looking over your shoulder, to mentor you along? I hope that he has the ability to look upon you and smile....knowing that you have come under the spell of the honeybee, as I am sure he was, as we all are. They are a very beautiful and addictive little creature, how we help but want to comply with their wishes, to help them to live healthy and happy lives, and in return, they give to us the golden stores of their work. Not so willingly, but in a kind of diverted way, they have repaid us with honey and joy. Enjoy your stay with us, here you can tell your stories, tales and experiences, ask your questions, and learn how to become a great beekeeper -- something that we all aspire to become. Have the most wonderful and awesome day, Cindi
