In your opinion / experience, which type of bee is better suited for production of cut comb honey?
I know they both produce nice white cappings, but I am suspecting Italians are better, due to less swarminess??

Generally the darker bees make whiter cappings due to a slight amount of air under the cappings. The Italian cappings tend to be a bit more "watery" looking. Both will make delicious honey. :)
