Twenty or thirty yellow jacket stings can kill? No no no. It can take as few as 1 sting to kill but it depends on your immune system which slowly fails as you get older. Twenty and thirty stings and you might begin to have an allergic reaction might be more accurate.

"Twenty or thirty yellow jacket stings can kill?" Nope, unless you are allergic. Hell, I was stung 30 times or so from yellow jackets when I was in my twenties, went home and took benadryl, it was lights out though for the rest of that day.
Incidentally, I had a honeybee call that wound up being yj's Tuesday evening. The guy was shocked when I told him they weren't honeybees, he had searched high and low for someone who would remove the "honeybee colony".

When I was logging on this site I was bucking log's and was getting stung about 10 time's an hour all day by yj's it felt like I was drunk. when I could I looked for the nest but could never find it. The next day no yj's dint know where they went.
