anybody from the central georgia area? i am looking for someone in the central georgia area who might be willing to help a beginner. I'm located in Milner which is about 1/2 way between Atlanta and Macon.I'v talked with a few realy great folks but most are a good distance away and i'm trying to find someone a little closer that  might be able to give me some hands on experience.i'v got a lot of questions that i'd like to ask that books and video's dont quite cover

I believe Doak lives near macon but I think it is on the south side. Asprince may be in that area though.

there is a man I have talked to that lives in Thomaston just north of macon, his name is Billy Ingle, he is in partnership with Billy Weeks (Weeks Works), I have his number but can't find it now, you could call Billy Weeks and get it if you want, if you want to learn they love to teach for free labor working hives or shacking packages. micbear, I am in Fort Valley, Ga. and would be happy to help you. Even better, come and join us at the Heart of Ga Beekeepers meeting held at the Perry courthouse on the second Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm. We offer a mentoring program and good fellowship.
