Title: What type of honey is this ?
Post by: Vrindavan on December 11, 2008, 02:09:14 AM
my friend sent me some pictures.

What type of honey is this ?

Why it is in solid/hard state ?
rock honey ?
can use the teeth to bite it into pieces,
so it is not too hard or too soft.

Is it natural ?
is this bee propolis, bee wax ?

Thanks so much

I can't see any pictures, but all honey granulates eventually, except MAYBE tupelo.  It gets pretty hard sometimes.

 The first question is

Where is the honey made?  Without that it is impossible to tell.

Honey naturally crystallizes over time and can get quite hard over time.
