Hi,
I started beekeeping three years ago in Vigo, Galicia region, Northwestern Spain. My mother had bees until I was something like ten years old but I did not participate, all I did was play with the vintage manual honey extractor. I'm 39 now but somehow that childhood honey smell must have made an impression.
I am a friend, and occasionally give a hand to, Antonio Simón Sopeña, a fourth generation organic spanish beekeeper, whose family introduced the Langstroth hive in Spain by the end of the 19th century.
