Hi, has anyone used the afb detection/testing kits and can say how many hives each kit can test, the ease of use Etc.?

I'm not sure but I'm guessing they are just expensive versions of the Holt's milk test. I have done them at least a hundred times. About 95% reliable. With a Holt's milk test, rope test, and visual identification, you can achieve almost 100% reliability.

Our teatment here is to burn the infected hives no questions asked. I guess i will just do the holts test then instead of trying to get the kit. Another question, can honey be home tested for the afb spores?
