It finally rained. Months of nothing and it finally rained.
I filmed one of the hives because I saw a lot of small hive beetles coming out.
When bees cluster to block the entrance. The small hive beetles lose their hiding places.
It was interesting to see how the bees behave in the rain.

Your hives have a top and bottom entrance?
Nice video.
Was not sure if that was fighting or bees just struggling with a dead bee. Sometimes they get their legs hung up and they really struggle to break loose, giving the impression they are fighting.

I thought that also but I was watching the bees on the ground for a bit and they were attacking it. I was so fascinated. That I didn't film it. Then I realized I should film this and by then the bee was dead. It may have been close to death when they were taking it out.
