do you direct release queen ,when you re queen tbh
When requeening you are in a different senario than installing a package in an empty hive. You have comb and one of the concerns with installing a package and NOT doing a direct release is them drawing comb on the queen cage. You also have the acceptance issue. You need to remove the old queen and give them a few days to get used to the new queen. I would do a candy cage release or make a push in cage.
